Harden Hill is quarried from well established and well renowned Yorkshire quarry. The stone is known for its hard wearing nature and its fawn/buff to blue/grey colouring depending on the bed of stone being worked.
Sawn paving is normally produced in widths of 300, 450 and 600mm and in random lengths. Thicknesses are 50 or 75mm. Other sizes can be easily supplied as all products are produced to order.
A variety of finishes can be supplied including honed, rubbed or textured if required.
As with all natural materials, variations in colour will occur and should be regarded as part of the charm of natural Yorkshire Stone.
Harden Hill stone is cut to a tolerance of +- 10mm

Thornton stone is available in the following standard thickness
1) 38 mm
2) 50 mm
3) 75 mm
4) 100 mm
There can be slight variations in thickness due to the sawing process. It may be necessary to bed each stone to ensure a level finished result.
